The live udev ebuild catches from two git repos now which confuses smart-live-rebuild and makes it rebuild udev only if the latter (gentoo-udev-scripts) change. I'd really appreciate if the order could be reversed (or -- even better -- udev split into two ebuilds :P).
I spoke with zzam about splitting out udev and udev-gentoo-scripts into separate packages. His response at the time was that he would think about it, but I haven't heard back from him, and he has been inactive for months. So, I would like to do this split. @robbat2: Do you have any objections? Also, is sys-apps a good category for the new ebuild?
This is fixed now in the tree. udev was split into sys-fs/udev and sys-fs/udev-init-scripts. This goes into affect with udev-180 and newer.
