When trying to rip an audio CD, rhythmbox gets the track-titles wrong if it's the 2nd CD of a multi-CD album. Track-count is correct, but it shows the track-titles of the 1st CD, not of the 2nd one. eg. "Best of Destruction" has CD 1 and CD 2: http://musicbrainz.org/release/03780fcd-1e67-4579-ae4b-e049801c2f22 on CD 2, the track titles of CD 1 are shown. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start rhythmbox 2. enter 2nd CD of a multi-CD album 3. look at the track-titles rhythmbox shows Actual Results: eg. "Best of Destruction" has CD 1 and CD 2: http://musicbrainz.org/release/03780fcd-1e67-4579-ae4b-e049801c2f22 1 Intro 2 Total Desaster 3 Mad Butcher 4 Devil's Soldiers 5 Invincible Force 6 Death Trap 7 The Ritual 8 Tormentor 9 Black Death 10 Beyond Eternity 11 Release From Agony 12 Sign of Fear Expected Results: eg. "Best of Destruction" has CD 1 and CD 2: http://musicbrainz.org/release/03780fcd-1e67-4579-ae4b-e049801c2f22 1 Confound Games 2 United by Hatred 3 Upcoming Devastation 4 Confused Mind 5 Curse the Gods (live) 6 Unconscious Ruins (live) 7 Thrash Attack (live) 8 Reject Emotions (live) 9 Mad Butcher (live) 10 Pink Panther / Life Without Sense (live) 11 In the Mood / Release From Agony (live) 12 Bestial Invasion (live) I am not sure if it's a rhythmbox or musicbrainz problem... media-sound/sound-juicer too gets the title-track lookup wrong, though in a different manner.
Is it an "original" CD, if not, maybe some song lengths are not the same than they should be :-/
yes, it is an original CD. also the same problem for other 2 x CD releases, like http://musicbrainz.org/release-group/a12bc806-b213-3e33-b8fb-7de19f850ebc
I tried media-sound/rhythmbox-2.95 on my other machine and the problem still persists. I think all "2 x CD" or multi-CD releases are affected where single CDs are not assigned to single releases elsewhere in the artists list.
You should probably report this to upstream and post the link here -> bugzilla.gnome.org
