Description Jacob Perkins 2002-06-20 18:21:13 UTC
The error starts off as:
cc1plus warning: changin search order for system directory
"/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.1/include" as it has already been
specified as a non-system directory
says same for "/usr/include"
then has lots of lines saying various member functions are undeclared
then says:
dmake: Error code while making './unxlngi4.pro/misc/build/so_built'
--* TG_SLO.MK *--
ERROR: Error 65280 occured while making
/var/tmp/portage/openoffice-1.0.0-r1/work/oo_1.0_src/berkeleydb
dmake: Error code 1, while making 'build_all'
--* TG_SLO.MK *--

ERROR: ebuild did not complete, function src_compile, line 58, exitcode 255

my gcc is 3.1-r6, I have 3 different versions of db installed, and have not
removed berkdb from use vars

Try removing db-4, and try again ?
Comment 2 Jacob Perkins 2002-06-22 02:48:18 UTC
nope, same problem after unmerging db-4
Comment 3 Martin Schlemmer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-06-24 13:25:00 UTC
nosferatu root # epm -q db
db-1.85-r1
db-3.2.3h-r4
nosferatu root #

What version db-3 you have installed ?
Comment 4 Jacob Perkins 2002-06-24 13:30:27 UTC
I've got the following versions: 3.3.11, 4.0.14, 1.85-r1, 3.2.3h-r4. When I
tried unmerging version 4, postfix stopped working, so I'd rather not do that again.

Please try the latest OO revision, thanks.
Comment 6 Jacob Perkins 2002-10-06 21:23:28 UTC
I've finally compiled oo from source, so I'm closing this
