It appears that the link to the home page for "xine-dmd" is no longer working correctly. It currently points to: http://www.geocities.com/xinedvdplugin/ ...and that shows a "page not found"... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Put URL (http://packages.gentoo.org/search/?sstring=xine-dmd) into a browser URL box. 2. Click on "home" icon. Actual Results: Geocities / Yahoo page loads up with text stating "Sorry, the page you requested was not found.". Expected Results: The home page of the xine-dmd plug-in should appear. Have e-mailed marduk and he's recommended to raise a bug here.
The DMD (Digital Movie Disc) plugin A simple CSS-enabled plugin designed for viewing DVDs without any special features. It does, however, support multiple angles. It may be obtained from http://www.geocities.com/xinedvdplugin/. What do we need this for? We should drop this depricated plugin. libdvdnav is integrated into Xine now. I can't think of any reason to keep this plugin.
It appears that the package has been removed from packages.gentoo.org. Since there was a reccommendation of deprecation, this can be considered closed.
