Description Zorzo Luca 2011-12-17 13:57:43 UTC
As title suggests running prelink on a system with nvidia-290* drivers leads to several segfaults in several apps (e.g.: chromium).
I suspect it is only a x86 issue which can be fixed with a mask in prelink's search path: I'm currently using PRELINK_PATH_MASK="/usr/lib/opengl/nvidia/lib", maybe someone else can suggest a better solution.

Reproducible: Always

Almost the same thing here. Using prelink breaks some wine games that use OpenGL (e.g. Rage, WoW). Initially I thought it was a wine bug until I noticed this one and reemerge nvidia-drivers. Running prelink breaks those games again.
I didn't have any problem with chromium so I'm not certain this is the same bug.

Just a "me too" reply. Prelinking breaks wine applications on amd64 with x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-290.10.

Please, try this:

- prelink -au
- rm /etc/prelink.cache
- prelink -amR
