The ebuild for django-tastypie

It s a flexible and capable API layer for django.  It utilises the serialisers XML, YAML and biplist.  django-tastypie from pypi.org is an alternative to the package django-piston.  The ebuild informs the user during the postinst phase of the various serialiser options rather than incorporating them as RDEPEND deps.
