Description BT 2011-12-16 08:32:01 UTC
The kmenuedit desktop file in '/usr/share/applications/kde4' exists but has 'NoDisplay=true' at the end of the file. Changing this to 'NoDisplay=false' and running 'kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental' fixes the issue for me.

Reinstalling kmenuedit overwrites my changes and kmenuedit disappears once again. Tested with kmenuedit-4.7.4.

I think this is what upstream wants.
To edit menu, you do:
Right click on K menu icon->Edit Applications...

I'd say it's WONTFIX.

Any reason you would need kmenuedit icon in KDE menu?

No reason. I just couldn't find kmenuedit. I also didn't know that I could start it by right clicking the KDE menu. Thanks.
