Description meteora 2011-12-12 10:06:37 UTC
When trying to emerge otrs-3.0.10 it failes on some of its dependencies.

Come from installing a fresh gentoo on virtualbox. Did an emerge otrs followed by an --autounmask-write, etc-update to unmask needed packages, and then startet the emerge process.

I soon realized, that there is an upgrade of perl, so I thought I should be able to fix the probs with perl-cleaner --all, but it still fails to emerge couple of perl Modules.

Things I have already tried:
- Emerge with ccache disabled and -j1
- perl-cleaner --reallyall and --all
- python-updater
- lafilefixer --justfixit
- emerge --resume --keep-going
- revdep-rebuild
- emerge -e system/world

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.put otrs in package.keywords
2.emerge otrs --autoumask-write && etc-update
3.emerge otrs
Actual Results:
emerge process failed on some of the dependencies.

Expected Results:
been emerged successfully

I can't reproduce this on a ~amd64 install, both GD-2.44 and GD-2.460.0 install fine.

Hello and thanks for helping. As mentioned in this post in gentoo forum: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-903926.html I already had mod_perl useflag set, so I tried to emerge without it, and it worked. Strangely enough afterwards I retried to emerge with mod_perl and this works too, now.

Having resynced in the meantime - I am not really able to reproduce atm. If having little off free time, I will remove everything regarding otrs, delete package.keywords, downgrade to stable perl and then try to reproduce the compile failure while re-emerging otrs to report back here.
