Description Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2011-12-11 16:25:09 UTC
As you can see in http://www.gentoo.org/ every security announcement is shown in a splitted way and, then, a lot of space is lost and, also, most of the space in our main webpage is dedicated to these announcements that, even being interesting, I think shouldn't get so much space in the principal webpage.

Wouldn't be possible to show periodical (maybe weekly or daily) news about security issues as already done with blogposts?

Reproducible: Always

my guess is something on the backend would need to change...it might just be XML, in which case that'd be the www@ team. but not pr@.

Hmm, can't CC the www team but it is just klieber, nightmorph, antarus on it anyway. Unless Alec has something to say, I doubt this will ever change with the current site.

I'm pretty sure this is just robbat or myself sitting down and grinding out the magical xslt to do it. It is also something I've wanted for a while.

There is no realistic chance this will be done in the system currently in place.
