The galeon 1.2.5 ebuild notices if you do not have gnome support turned on, and tells you to remerge libglade with USE="gnome". However, I had to remerge imlib and gdk-pixbuf with gnome support as well before it would run. Paul
If you use an untampered ebuild for gdk-pixbuf, you get gnome support. you have no choice in the matter. If, however, you tampered with the ebuild, then this bug report is meaningless. Neither imlib nor imlib2 are listed to have optional GNOME support either.
Hi; Fair enough. However, I run a default-1.0 profile, rsync nearly every day, and upgrade system then world. I had to remerge imlib and gdk-pixbuf for galeon 1.2.5 to run. (I had been running an older galeon against mozilla-.9.9something previously.) Sorry about my incorrect assumption about gnome support. (I just remerged gdk-pixbuf and imlib with my default USE of -gnome, and galeon still works.) So, for some reason these libs just needed to be remade for me... Paul
