It seems uploading tbz doesn't work. Here is a link for the ebuild:

I've been using the origionally posted ebuild for about 2 weeks on an active VPN
just fine. We really should get this merged in to the portage tree, either as an
update to the current package, or as a new (and conflicting) package.
Comment 4 Alexander Holler 2002-07-06 13:45:54 UTC
I'm using it with the X.509 patches just for about three weeks.
But I thought the patches aren't conflicting. They just enhance Frees/WAN.
Have you tried the freeswan with patches on your current setup?

Perhaps I should have made my point a bit clearer. I think the x509 patch should
make the portage tree. The only question is to decide if it should be in a
seperate 'freeswan-x509' ebuild, or a patach against the existing build
Comment 6 Brian Rozmierski 2002-07-08 15:58:22 UTC
Of course this is all moot now... Somone slipped in and added the patch in
without me noticing :)

IMHO, this bug can be marked RESOLVED, FIXED.
