As I finished the Primary Installation I was so glad, it was working, so I stated now to figure out how the Desktop ist working. - Really, I made a mistake and did not read chapter '25. Using GRP' of  http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-x86-install.xml

But I think this is very human.

I started with desktop.xml reading "..., but if you're in a hurry you just need to type: 
emerge sync"

>> I think, there should be a word about GRP and the Stage3 installation, because 'emerge sync' ist not the right thing to do, if You want Stage3.

I disagree. The installation instructions already inform the user about this:
