Please add a dependency to >=dev-python/subvertpy-0.8.8 replacing or as an alternative to >=dev-vcs/subversion-1.5[python] 
It's the new recommend python binding for hgsubversion.

I guess you meant >=1.3?

You need to have either have Subversion 1.5 (or later) installed along with
either Subvertpy 0.7.4 (or later) or the Subversion SWIG Python bindings. You
need Mercurial 1.3 or later.

I guess not;  He seems to be suggesting >=dev-vcs/subversion-1.5[python] as a replacement or an alternative dep package for >=dev-vcs/hgsubversion-1.3.

So for subversion;

[I] dev-vcs/subversion
     Available versions:  1.6.17 (~)1.6.17[1] (~)1.6.17-r6 1.6.17-r7 (~)1.7.0 (~)1.7.1 
version 1.5 is already dropped from the tree, and 

* dev-vcs/hgsubversion
     Available versions:  1.2.1 (~)1.3 {test} are current. Anyway, for a dev to figure
