When emerging dpkg, emerge tries to download the tar/gz from multiple mirrors and fails. The file appears to be named correctly, but either the src URI is wrong or the source doesn't appear to reside on any of the mirrors. I can manually download from elsewhere and emerge. This is for package dpkg-1.10.15 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge dpkg 2. watch it not be able to find the source Actual Results: Was annoyed and downloaded the tar/gz from elsewhere ;) Expected Results: Downloaded properly so that my emerge could have happened without an extra step. it's still spreading over the mirrors, just retry.
