Hi,
when trying to build a catalyst livecd with glusterfs, configure fails because of these missing dependencies:
  sys-devel/flex
  sys-devel/bison
  dev-util/pkgconfig

Correct me if I am wrong, but you surely didn't mean to drop 3.1.4-r1 and add 3.1.2, did you?

3.1.2 was already there (stable), and 3.1.4-r1, 3.2.3 were "overshadowed" by unstable 3.2.4. There was no reason to keep them.
