Description Justin Huff 2002-06-19 23:56:37 UTC
IAX is Inter-Asterix Exchange, a packet voice protocol. Asterisk (the soft PBX
www.asterisk.org) supports it for talking between several servers and to
clients. One such client is gnophone.
I suggest putting it in net/libs/iax

do we have anything that can use this?
Comment 3 Markus Bertheau (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-10-23 15:21:11 UTC
Maybe not, but does that matter? We have gtkmm2, too :)
Comment 4 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-10-23 15:38:34 UTC
gtkmm is not very up-to-date, as you know ;)

Anyway, gtkmm is used by ppl. And by a major gnome2 project -imo- (Gabber2).

Just resolve it as later until someone comes with a gnophone ebuild or something
? Useless adding it if it isn't used.
Comment 5 Justin Huff 2002-10-25 02:40:33 UTC
gnophone uses it. It's also used by asterisk which might get in portage at some
point...
