Description Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2011-11-26 15:49:22 UTC
I get a compile error with chromium 16.0.912.41.

The first error is:

browser_init.cc:(.text._ZN11BrowserInit24CreateAutomationProviderI25TestingAutomationProviderEEbRKSsP7Profilem[bool BrowserInit::CreateAutomationProvider<TestingAutomationProvider>(std::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char> > const&, Profile*, unsigned long)]+0x38): undefined reference to `TestingAutomationProvider::TestingAutomationProvider(Profile*)'

I'll attach full error log.

Can't repro here. Have you tried with disabled ccache?
Comment 3 Mike Gilbert gentoo-dev 2011-11-26 17:34:38 UTC
I can't reproduce this either.

I thought maybe the recently added binutils-2.22 might have been the cause, but it builds fine for me with that version.
Comment 4 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2011-11-27 13:47:25 UTC
Disabling ccache did the trick. Interesting, I haven't had any ccache issues for quite a long time. I'll try to re-run with a clean ccache.

Definitely not a chromium problem then (feel free to redirect to ccache maintainers).
