Description Patrik Kullman 2004-01-23 01:23:23 UTC
When viewing some pages, Mozilla (1.6b, 1.6, Firebird 0.7) crashes.
Tried with www.aftonbladet.se, always crashes.
Plugins: mplayerplug-in 1.2, Shockwave Flash 6.0 r79, Java(TM) Plug-in Blackdown-1.4.1-01, rpnp.so

GDB output:
(gdb) run
Starting program: /usr/lib/mozilla/mozilla-bin

Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'Gecko' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
  (Details: serial 97 error_code 8 request_code 72 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
aborting...

Program received signal SIGTRAP, Trace/breakpoint trap.

Works without the flashplayer plug-in.

What USE flags did you use? What's the output of emerge info? What platform are you on?

Works fine for me on that website, is it still a problem for you?
Comment 6 Patrik Kullman 2004-04-11 04:09:03 UTC
No it was netscape-flash that made it b0rk.

Sorry for not closing.
