Well, firefox 3.6.23 I had have no problems, but now ff isn't able to access such a page at a user mode linux system. However it works if I point ff to the phpmyadmin side of the host system itself. With Opera I do not have any problems. You are gonna have to provide much more detailed information if you would like to recieve help with this. Things such as an strace -f firefox would be a good start.
