Description Radek Podgorny 2011-11-14 12:38:06 UTC
checking for curl/curl.h... no
configure: error: Couldn't find curl/curl.h which is required for the crash reporter. Use --disable-crashreporter to disable the crash reporter.
*** Fix above errors and then restart with "make -f client.mk build"
make[2]: *** [configure] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/www-client/firefox-7.0.1-r1/work/mozilla-release'
make[1]: *** [obj-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/Makefile] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/www-client/firefox-7.0.1-r1/work/mozilla-release'
make: *** [build] Error 2

...even when crashreporter use flag is not set. the dep on curl is not enforced (correct) but the --disable-crashreporter doesn't seem to be used.

Reproducible: Always

Comment 4 Radek Podgorny 2011-11-16 15:17:46 UTC
ok, will attach a build.log when i get to the machine again, BUT:

as i've mentioned initially, this is a problem when crashreporter use flag is NOT set. see the relevant part of the configure output i've posted.
