I will be mentoring jdhore (Jeff Horelick) who has... - been doing some x86 archtesting, but isn't an official AT yet - finished his ebuild-quiz which I have approved and reviewed myself for now And he is intrested in becoming members of the x86 and net-irc teams, at least as starting point What we do now is... - review some more ebuilds and work on the issues together - he will finish his end-quiz And he is in metadata.xml of app-arch/rar, net-misc/quickshare, net-p2p/transmission-remote-gtk and being proxied for them.
As Jeff is looking to take over -bin packages for mozilla we can assist where needed.
I've talked with Samuli; since he's overworked throughout December, I'll be co-mentoring jdhore either till recruitment + probation or the Jan 2012. Status: I'm currently reviewing/discussing the end-quiz with Jeff.
As I now either proxy-maintain or co-maintain a few packages in the tree, I was wondering if I could get VOP/auto-voice in #gentoo-dev from the recruiters? I'm not sure if they need to be CC'd or what... Thanks. As a sidenote, i'm still working on finishing up my end quiz, life and work and stuff have kept me a bit busy as of late.

I will be your recruiter. Please send your quizzes to recruiters@gentoo.org when approved by your mentor. Always add a comment to this bug when you send something to that address. When the quizzes are sent please contact me by email to schedule the first review session. If you think that recruiters aren't paying attention to this bug at any later point in time, it's your job to ping us on IRC if you don't want any delays.
My quizzes have been approved by my mentor and were emailed at 4:29PM EST on Jan 16, 2012 to recruiters@gentoo.org .
I have sent my reviewed ebuild-quiz to recruiters@gentoo.org

As I have mentioned to Pacho, I expect to return to Gentoo development within the next several months. My Gentoo development machine died and then I had a large move so I will try getting a new development machine spun up in the next several months.
Jeff, any news? Third mail was already sent... hence, without news from you in a week or so I would finally go ahead with retirement :/
