playing hack i've tried to save the game but it tells "Cannot open save file. (Continue or Quit)" because that dir is missing Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. run hack 2. type S Actual Results: the game tells you "Cannot open save file. (Continue or Quit)" Expected Results: the game should quit and tells you "Be seeing you ..."

he's refering to hack in games-misc/bsd-games-non-free, not nethack this is a bug in portage, but i've added some code to work around it in the meantime
