Description Yannick Koehler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-01-28 12:50:40 UTC
Some application like ash required libbsd.a to be there. But the
libbsd-compat.a is kind of the same. It would be nice that a symbolic link to
that library be created so that package like ash would compile nicely out of the
box.

cd /usr/lib
ln libbsd-compat.a libbsd.a

Or something like that to be added to glibc ebuild, install section.
