mb2md is a perl tool to convert Mbox mailboxes to Maildir format:

Considering the age of this package request I wonder if it'll ever be fulfilled. I was surprised to find this package is not in the system, and it would be an easy task for a new maintainer to familiarise themselves with committing ebuilds.

Anyway, the reason for this comment is to add that the homepage states that the script depends upon dev-perl/TimeDate
