Yes, I agree. I've found by accident some of the formatting symbols answering questions. For instance the "_" character in code snips needs to be escaped "\_" for the answer to show correctly. i.e. MY\_PN in the editor to display MY_PN another bugbear is having to double space lines for them to not just become one long paragraph, To show an indent you need to indent 8 spaces for it to show an indent of 4, etc.. What is needed is some formatting options like the forums interface. Having buttons for code, url, bold, ... So answers can be entered easily, consistently and predictably.
