During booting form LiveCD (gentoo 1.4, P4 compilation) after hde (ide2) detection, following message is written and karnell freeze:

blk: queue c03bc508, I/O limit 4095MB (mask 0xffffffff)

Running hardware:
P4 on P4C800 deluxe (from ASUS) with SATA disc 

I tried turn off ACPI and/or APIC and other possible options, but
nothing helped.




Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get Live CD-1.4 for P4
2. Boot on described hardware.
3. Use any kernel parametres you want.
   IT HANGS 

Actual Results:

!! Error can be avoided by precise BIOS setup

In BIOS Main menu->IDE Configuration; I have used 
"Enhanced Mode" + "P-ATA+S-ATA" for my Mainboard-HDD combination even it didn't
make sence to me. For other people with same board: try all combination of this options.

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
