Hi, On versions 0.9.9 and 0.9.12 (and 0.9.13, and upstream git [1]), the configure script is looking for the old linux/videodev.h header. That's because the v4l support in x11vnc is simply broken. Maybe the v4l useflag should be temporarily masked for x11-misc/x11vnc until the issue is fixed by upstream.
