There is no /etc/init.d/festival init script when upgrading to app-accessibility/festival-2.1 using the stable package from gentoo main portage tree.
Would be nice to have one like it used to :)

Hi Valentin, 

If you take a look at bug #357381 the init script was removed because of security issues.
