icc? Are you using the intel c++ compiler?
Comment 2 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2004-01-20 18:02:28 UTC
you forgot `emerge info`

you should also post the config.log file from the build directory

chances are it's icc related

config.log please ?
Comment 5 Jackey Yang ("timeout" in forum) 2004-01-22 17:07:51 UTC
This file contains any messages produced by compilers while
running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

It was created by GNU nano configure 1.3.1, which was
generated by GNU Autoconf 2.58. Invocation command line was

  $ ./configure --prefix=/usr --host=i686-pc-linux-gnu --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --datadir=/usr/share --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var/lib --bindir=/bin --enable-color --enable-multibuffer --enable-nanorc --disable-justify --enable-spell --disable-debug --enable-nls
