CGI:IRC is pearl/CGI program to use IRC from a web browser.  I recomend that this goes into net-www.  For more information check out http://cgiirc.sourceforge.net.

net-irc seems to be better

did you try it ?
i don't get icons

OK, here is the issue:

Apache, the way mine is setup, cannot access images from anywher inside the cgi-bin directory.  Apache will trow a "Internal Server Error", and in your apache error log you will get a  "script not found or unable to stat: /var/www/localhost/cgi-bin/cgiirc/icons" error for each icon that it tries to load.

I am going to move them via the ebuild to the apache icons directory but this is going to get a little messy.  Ill have an ebuild up a little later tonight. Let me know if you have a bettter idea.
