after upgrading from x11-base/xorg-server-1.11.1, I've lost the ability to copy/paste using the middle mouse button. I can scroll but not copy/paste. I cannot downgrade to x11-base/xorg-server-1.11.1 because then I hit the libtool 2.4 bug. emerge --info x11-base/xorg-server Portage 2.1.10.31 (default/linux/amd64/10.0/desktop/kde, gcc-4.5.3, The difference between xorg-server-1.11.1 and 1.11.1-r1 is only the fix for security bug 387069 (lockfile creation vulnerability). It should not have effect on input devices. Probably something else changed on your system between building 1.11.1 and 1.11.1-r1.

it seems to be an issue with the config, defining it manually works. closing
