Description Stephan Litterst 2011-10-22 06:20:20 UTC
I did an emerge -uDN world after an emerge sync an got this:

The following keyword changes are necessary to proceed:
#required by @selected, required by @world (argument)
>=app-text/poppler-0.18.0 ~x86

NOTE: This --autounmask behavior can be disabled by setting
      EMERGE_DEFAULT_OPTS="--autounmask=n" in make.conf.

Use --autounmask-write to write changes to config files (honoring CONFIG_PROTECT).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge --sync && emerge -uDN world
2.
3.

I think xpdf needs the poppler version which is not stable:

equery depends poppler
 * These packages depend on poppler:
app-text/texlive-core-2010-r4 (>=app-text/poppler-0.12.3-r3)
app-text/xpdf-3.02-r4 (>=app-text/poppler-0.18.0[xpdf-headers])
dev-tex/luatex-0.70.1 (>=app-text/poppler-0.12.3-r3[xpdf-headers])
kde-base/okular-4.6.5 (pdf ? >=app-text/poppler-0.12.3-r3[lcms,qt4,-exceptions(-)])
media-gfx/gimp-2.6.11-r5 (pdf ? >=app-text/poppler-0.12.3-r3[cairo])

xpdf is not stable? That's a new information for me. Let me check this...

emerge -s xpdf
