Description Juergen Rose 2011-10-11 09:43:26 UTC
If I go to an pdf-URL (e.g. http://www.stanford.edu/group/e145/cgi-bin/winter/drupal/upload/handouts/Four_Steps.pdf, I took this URL only because google find it at the first places when looking for "epiphany" and "pdf") with epiphany, I see the source text (%PDF-1.4 %...) of the pdf file in epiphany and libreoffice is started. If I search in /usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache or in /etc/mozpluggerrc, I do not find any connection with libreoffice:

root@orca:/root(48)# grep pdf  /usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache
application/pdf=evince.desktop;AdobeReader.desktop;zzz-gimp.desktop;kde4-krita_pdf.desktop;xpdf.desktop;inkscape.desktop;
application/x-bzpdf=evince.desktop;
application/x-gzpdf=evince.desktop;

root@orca:/root(49)# grep pdf  /etc/mozpluggerrc
application/pdf:pdf:PDF file
application/x-pdf:pdf:PDF file
text/pdf:pdf:PDF file
text/x-pdf:pdf:PDF file
        repeat noisy swallow(kpdf) fill: kpdf "$file"
        repeat noisy swallow(Xpdf) fill: xpdf -g +9000+9000 "$file"
        repeat noisy swallow(epdfview) fill: epdfview "$file"

I also does not find any connection to libreoffice in ~rose/.mozilla/firefox/ev8gkrb9.default/pluginreg.dat:

root@orca:/root(52)# grep -C 2 pdf ~rose/.mozilla/firefox/ev8gkrb9.default/pluginreg.dat
61:application/photoshop:PhotoShop Image:psd:$
62:application/x-photoshop:PhotoShop Image:psd:$
63:application/pdf:PDF file:pdf:$
64:application/x-pdf:PDF file:pdf:$
65:text/pdf:PDF file:pdf:$
66:text/x-pdf:PDF file:pdf:$
67:application/x-dvi:DVI file:dvi:$
68:application/x-postscript:PostScript file:ps:$

How can I remove this nasty behaviour of epiphany?

Reproducible: Always
