Does it fail in the same way once updated gnucash version is already installed on your system? gnucash build system is a bit flaky and likes to use system libs instead of just compiled ones :S
oh dear. you got me. Initially I emerged the lot, then I set FEATURES test. Therefore, I did it the other way around. This is how it failed when it was already emerged. So, I have now unmerged the lot since my system was almost full; would you like me to set test then re-try?
If it failed once 2.4.7 was already installed, I guess is a different problem then :-/
Are you able to reproduce test failures when manually building? ./configure && make && make check
running unpack and changing to source resulted in a config failure with ./configure, so re-ran configure from ebuild gnucash-2.4.7.ebuild clean configure which called all the autotools that did not get called from plain ./configure, and returned to source. Ran make && make check (process:16166): gnc.gui-WARNING **: [PrintAmountInternal()] Bad numeric from rounding: GNC_ERROR_OVERFLOW. From your build.log, other tests are failing for you and, then, you should open a different bug
