Description Bill Cavalieri 2004-01-18 13:19:14 UTC
When I use the either of the getbinpkg (gG) emerge flags, along with --deep, all binary packages are downloaded from the host.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -gp --deep world
2. 1. emerge -g --deep world
Actual Results:
step 1, listed about 9 packages that needed updating, with only a couple that
would need to be built (most were available binary)

step 2, started downloading the binaries, but then just keep downloading
binaries from host, I stopped it after 20 minutes.

Expected Results:
Should have only downloaded the few packages needing updated from step 1.

Use 2.0.50, it fixes this.
Comment 2 Marius Mauch (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-08 17:55:17 UTC
supposed to be fixed in 2.0.50 which is stable now. If this bug is not fixed please reopen.
