Description Danny van Dyk (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-01-18 04:40:37 UTC
mldonkey emerges without problems with USE="-gtk -gnome" emerge net-p2p/mldonkey, didnt test with other use flags.
"/etc/init.d/mldonkey start" pretends that it is started, but i couldnt connect to the core.
netstat -a revealed that there was no mldonkey listening, and when i run "mldonkey" as user "p2p", it segfaults.

you marked the hardware wrong
Comment 2 Jason Huebel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-02-27 21:28:45 UTC
related to #37826. mldonkey is based on ocaml.
Comment 3 Danny van Dyk (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-05-28 07:23:01 UTC
CC'ing mattam, he's the ocaml maintainer...

He's already working on this bug, using my box.
Comment 4 Jon Hood (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-06-18 22:12:56 UTC
Is it doing the same for the newer versions of mldonkey?
Comment 5 Jason Huebel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-26 07:37:24 UTC
ocaml 3.08 and greater resolves the segfault issues with mldonkey.
