Hi. The mirror from Moldova located at http://mirror.ihost.md/gentoo/ is not listed on http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/mirrors2.xml. What happened? Info about us: 1. The contact e-mail is mirror-admin@ihost.md (Whole Technical Department and NOC Alias) 2. Updated 2 times per day. 3. Geographic location : Moldova, Chisinau 4. Supported access methods: HTTP/FTP http://mirror.ihost.md/gentoo/ ftp://mirror.ihost.md/gentoo/ Hardware Information: Server Information OS: GENTOO LINUX Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5530 x 4 8GB DDR400, ECC registered RAID / 8TB 2 x 1Gbps Ethernet Controller / 1Gbps Internet Connection / 2Gbps local Internet Bandwidth Thank you in advance.
I responded to you via email and didn't see any followup after that. Two updates/day doesn't meet the mirror criteria, please see http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/source_mirrors.xml and update more often.

My sorry for bad info in past. I analize and the truth is we update 6 per Day (not 2 as wrote in past). We have more enough space (8 TB) and bandwitch (Gbps Internet Connection / 2Gbps local Internet Bandwidth) to become an Offcial Mirror and WE BURNING IN DESIRE TO HAVE STATUS OF OFFICIAL MIRROR. Please help us and Thank You In Advance
Hello. On behalf of the mirror-admin team, I want to apologize for not getting back to your bug report. At this time, we are closing ALL new mirror request bugs. The Gentoo Linux Infrastructure team and the mirror-admin team have found that a plethora of community mirrors exist and adding more requires an exponential amount time from us then we have available. As such, this becomes a more poor user experience than desired because the team cannot keep up. The Gentoo Linux project is not contrained in hardware resources and does not need anymore mirrors (even if your request is for a country that is not represented currently). Thanks for understanding and thank you for your interest. With regards, Jeremy
