Description Francisco J. Vazquez 2011-10-03 12:25:03 UTC
I have an encfs directory mounted in my home dir. If I don't umount it before rebooting, I get:

mountinfo: realpath() failed: permission denied

while shuting down. This didn't happen before openrc 0.9.

Reproducible: Always

emerge --info openrc

post the `mount` output for that mount point

mount | grep encfs
encfs on /usr/local/home/fran/crypt type fuse.encfs (rw,nosuid,nodev,default_permissions,user=fran)

i.e., I mount it using the default encfs options. I know root cannot read it ("sudo ls crypt" fails with "permission denied"), but I don't know why it shouldn't be able to umount it at shutdown ("sudo umount crypt" unmounts it without problem).

Is this bug still an issue?

Thanks,

William

Nope. It seems latest versions of openrc umount encfs correctly at shutdown.

The reporter says this is fixed now. I can't really put it on a tracker
however since I'm not sure which commit resolved the issue.
