Description Christian Hartmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-01-17 11:40:35 UTC
KDE 3.1.5. has got the "any host can get a login window" option enebled by default. I don't think this is a very good idea. ;)

Code listing: /usr/kde/3.1/share/config/kdm/Xaccess
-----------------------------------------

* #any host can get a login window

-----------------------------------------

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge kde || emerge -u kde
2. <place your favourite texteditor here> /usr/kde/3.1/share/config/kdm/Xaccess
3. Take a look at line 42.

Actual Results:
The option mentioned above is enabled by default.

Expected Results:
The option shouldn't be enabled.

Any news? This Bug still remains in 3.2.2!

I think XDMCP is disabled by default in /usr/kde/3.3/share/config/kdm/kdmrc,
reopen if I'm wrong...
