From the configure script:

[...]
checking for firefox... /usr/bin/firefox
ACCESS DENIED  open_wr:      /dev/nvidiactl
NVIDIA: could not open the device file /dev/nvidiactl (Permission denied).
[...]

sandbox's log gives:

I believe this issue should have been fixed around 12 hours ago. Please update from the overlay (the ebuild should have a note about "firefox --version" in src_configure) and see if you still get the error.

Should be fixed in tracker-0.12.3-r1
