Description crusaderky 2004-01-17 01:12:17 UTC
There are several areas of a web page (try the preceding replies to this post) where, if you do Ctrl+C, Ctrl+ins or right click+copy on a portion of selected text the text won't be copied, at all.

Workaround 1) open the page source code
Workaround 2) use Mozilla
Reproducibility: always once proper text is found

OK try to copy something from my first post to the "additional comments":
if you select more than one line, it's all OK, but if you select only a portion of line you copy nothing.
Comment 2 Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-01-17 08:01:36 UTC
I can reproduce it in beta1 but not in current CVS.
Probably it will be fixed in kde-3.2_rc1.
Comment 3 Caleb Tennis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-01-19 07:54:51 UTC
may be fixed and is the result of mixing various toolboxes with X clipboard features. try it out in rc1, but this isn't something that we can do much about unfortunately. that's why there's klipper :)
