With the current cups version (I guess it starts with the 1.4 series), when the cups-pdf printer is installed, cups requires to set a ppd.

But this ppd is not available in the selection screen despite it is in the correct place in the cups tree (/usr/share/cups/model/). The ppd has to be set manually with the "Or Provide a PPD File" box.

Is it possible to register the cups-pdf ppd within cups ?
Or at least, report it somewhere.

Sorry for the noise, I found the ppd in Generic section...
