Affected package: net-mail/courier-imap-1.4.5-r2 Probable older versions too. What happens: courier-imap installs 'maildirmake' into /usr/sbin. Why is this bad? maildirmake is a tool with which users can create maildirs and maildir subfolders (without a maildir, courier-imap does not work). There is just no reason to place this tool into /usr/sbin which is usually not in the PATH of a user. IMHO better solution: Place maildirmake into /usr/bin as Mandrake and Redhat do. Cheers, Andreas
Fixed in courier-imap-1.4.5-r3.
