AFAICT, no real changes here, but adding static-libs useflag (or perhaps just disabling them unconditionally) and unconditionally removing  la files would be a good move.

When I said *unconditionally*, I did mean it - libmirage provides a pkg-config file, so there's no need for the la file.

Though, it's obviously your choice.
