Never sure if this is where the requests go for updated ebuilds. Wish there was a simple click to flag an ebuild as out-of-date, like what Arch Linux has on their package site. Usually I just modify an existing ebuild but it's become more of a pain with the new Digikam ebuilds because they look for versions of dependencies that are the same version of Digikam. I'm not sure why they do this as these versions are not required. Example, Digikam 2.1.1 will work with libkface 2.1.0, but the ebuild looks only for the 2.1.1 version of libkface. Reproducible: Always
Not needed... in this case Gentoo was faster in fixing the problems than upstream. Gentoo digikam-2.1.0-r2 is identical to upstream digikam-2.1.1. Adding a new ebuild would just lead to a useless recompile.
