patch to ebuild

Had a few problems getting audacious-plugins-3.0.3 emerged:

- Install of Gentoo ice theme duplicating main audacious build

 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/volume.bmp
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/viscolor.txt
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/titlebar.bmp
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/text.bmp
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/shufrep.bmp
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/posbar.bmp
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/pledit.txt
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/pledit.bmp
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/playpaus.bmp
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/numbers.bmp
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/monoster.bmp
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/main.bmp
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/eqmain.bmp
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/eq_ex.bmp
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/cbuttons.bmp
 * 	/usr/share/audacious/Skins/gentoo_ice/balance.bmp

- After I unemerged audacious to get around this audacious-plugins then failed t configure because audacious wasn't installed

checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes
checking for AUDACIOUS... no
configure: error: Cannot find Audacious 3.0 or later, have you installed audacious yet?

- NEWS and README not found in this version so dodoc failed

Leaving directory po.
install: cannot stat `NEWS': No such file or directory
!!! dodoc: NEWS does not exist
install: cannot stat `README': No such file or directory
!!! dodoc: README does not exist
 * ERROR: media-plugins/audacious-plugins-3.0.3 failed (install phase):
 *   dodoc failed

- Just a QA warning about dbus and sm options to finish with:
 *
 * 	configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --enable-dbus, --enable-sm
 * 	configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --enable-dbus, --enable-sm

(dbus is actutaly optional with --disable-gnomeshortcuts, but not use of libSM any more ?)

Patch attached that got the ebuild emerged for me.

Yeah! I have the same problem ;)

Updated ebuild in tree.
Comment 3 Kamen Dokov 2011-09-22 22:43:28 UTC
now it fails with:

aosd_ui.c: In function ‘aosd_cb_configure_position_expose’:
aosd_ui.c:102:93: error: ‘GtkWidget’ has no member named ‘window’
aosd_ui.c:103:28: error: ‘GtkWidget’ has no member named ‘style’
Failed to compile aosd_ui.c (plugin)!

Check with the actual, correct plugin ebuilds in the tree of today please; if you have an issue with those, file a new bug.

Why do you get up my hopes to smash them afterwards?
You closed this bug purely because of the "1 problem, 1 bug report, different problem, different bugreport" attitude, right? You didn't even make GTK related chages to the ebuild, right? The issue in comment 3 won't resolve itself, I guess. It's still there of course.

Correct.
