Patch attached that got the ebuild emerged for me.

Updated ebuild in tree.
now it fails with: aosd_ui.c: In function ‘aosd_cb_configure_position_expose’: aosd_ui.c:102:93: error: ‘GtkWidget’ has no member named ‘window’ aosd_ui.c:103:28: error: ‘GtkWidget’ has no member named ‘style’ Failed to compile aosd_ui.c (plugin)!
Check with the actual, correct plugin ebuilds in the tree of today please; if you have an issue with those, file a new bug.

Why do you get up my hopes to smash them afterwards? You closed this bug purely because of the "1 problem, 1 bug report, different problem, different bugreport" attitude, right? You didn't even make GTK related chages to the ebuild, right? The issue in comment 3 won't resolve itself, I guess. It's still there of course.
