Description Florian Albrechtskirchinger 2011-09-21 07:24:02 UTC
According to upstream, the Mono 2.6.x series is considered a stable LTS release [1], yet the ebuilds have been removed from the portage tree.
Please bring back mono-2.6.7 and ebuilds of related packages (mono-debugger, xsp, etc.).
Both Mono 2.8.x and the Mono 2.10.x series have serious issues plaguing my applications.

Reproducible: Always

If you see updated pages from:
http://mono-project.com/Main_Page

You will see 2.6.x branch is not being updated and, if I don't misremember, it even as security issues, you can also see distributions using and contributing to mono (like OpenSuSE) only providing 2.8, 2.10...

If you go to http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html you will see 2.10 is the version to download, and 2.6.x are under "older"
