The submitted URL shows the discussion on the forum relating to this suggestion. 

In short, I'm an experienced Linux user and recently installed Gentoo. I printed
the installation guide, burnt an ISO (stage1) and got to the end of the
installation as per the instructions without any problems.

However the installation instructions then ceased and I was left with no
web-browser and no indication of where the rest of the documentation could be
found without one. 

My suggestion for solving this would be to add details of where to find the
dexktop guide (and other docs) on the CD (or by emerging them, or by downloading
text versions with WGET).

I went ahead and added a link to index-docs.html to the end of the build guide.
