Description Alexander van der Meij 2011-09-18 14:17:43 UTC
Periscope is a python program to automatically find subtitles for video files on the web. It would be nice to get this in the tree!

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Alexander van der Meij 2011-09-18 14:25:15 UTC
An ebuild has been submitted to Sunrise. It should enter the overlay tree once it passes final review:

Well, what's the reason my bug was marked as a duplicate of this bug? I can't understand this, because the first bug seems like a request for a new ebuild and mine is a package failing to compile. Is it just because it's an overlay package? Thanks in advance.

That's correct. It's the policy of the sunrise team to handle all issues in the package request bug.
Comment 6 Thomas Sachau gentoo-dev 2014-12-14 14:16:03 UTC
The ebuild in sunrise was outdated and unmaintained, so it got removed.
