As per summary.

AMD64, PPC, SPARC and X86 are requested to test and mark stable version 2.6.1 of mod_security that has a much leaner build system.

MIPS should decide whether to drop keywording or keyword the 2.6 series.

mips will drop it for now, but maybe rekeyword when we're in better shape.

Diego, I know perfectly the usage of mod_security, but atm I have not a way to test it on a webserver that receives requests via web to se if it really works; so, only compile test is enough?

I'd suggest compile, FEATURES=test, and a couple of local requests to avoid false positives.

TBH I'm quite positive this works given that I'm using it for my blog and website, so ...
